Cardiacs. Salisbury, UK. Tim Smith formed Cardiacs, with his brother, Jim, as a teenager in the late 1970s. Over the next forty years they would become one of the most distinctive and adored cult groups in the UK. Noted for their complex, varied and intense compositional style, as well as their theatrical stage shows, they have been hailed as an influence by bands as diverse as Blur, Faith No More, and Radiohead.
