How the site describes itself:

Backdrop Network -- the network of studios and school photographers who run the backdrop program | backdrop.network

Backdrop Network is the directory of studios and school photographers who run the backdrop program, plus the backdrop makers and rental suppliers who supply it. Each studio joins, lists itself, and runs its own picture days, its own backdrops, and its own branded store on the shared toolchain -- its own separate account. An early-access member directory: the live searchable listing, live checkout, and payout are not live, and no card is charged today. Photos and face data are never sent to an outside AI or photo company; portraits are consent-gated and roster-bound.
