At its heaviest, you’ll hear hints of 90s grunge greats like Alice in Chains and revivalists like Ovlov and Spirit of the Beehive. At its lightest, Buddie draws inspiration from the Beths, Slow Pulp, and the Weakerthans. Together, they’ve made a grunge pop album all their own, taking hard-to-digest feelings and feeding them through an earworm melody machine.
