Hello everyone and thank you to all who participated in the the last election! The election has been officially certified and Tom Gunning has been re-elected as President. We have an opportunity to go forward now on a new path in unity and prepare as we advance into the unknown – and possibly turbulent times ahead. We must continue to fight TOGETHER. Whether in LGA, BUF, EWR, BGR or any of our 26 locations/stations, the battles are similar if not the same. It truly is not ‘station specific’ this epidemic of terminations, discipline levels and disrespect we are ALL facing.Thank you to those who participated either in person or via ZOOM in our recent 3rd Quarter Membership meeting held in EWR. A lot of discussion was given during the meeting about the animosity and biases that are fueling more division and continue to hurt us as we move forward. Each one of us has a personal history no matter where we began our career. It is not the intent to eliminate or invalidate any of those histories…
