How the site describes itself:

HOME | Distant Birds | minimalist dub afrobeat | exploratory musical improvisation

Distant Birds is the hypnotic musical collaboration between Chris Abrahams (The Necks) & Dave Symes (Boy & Bear). Blending minimalism, dub, Afrobeat pulse & exploratory improvisation, the band creates immersive groove-driven soundscapes. Their music bridges experimental listening and rhythmic immediacy. The result is a world of syncopated hooks and rhythmic interplay, designed as much for the dancefloor as for immersive, headphone listening.
