Ethridge Plastics has been family owned since its beginning in 1991. The late J.T. and Erma Jean Ethridge started the business after being invited to manufacture game calls for the former Trigg County enterprise known as Knight and Hale. J.T. worked in an injection molding facility in Hopkinsville, Kentucky at the time when he decided to pull from his retirement fund, venture out on his own, and purchase three used injection molding machines. He first located his business in a vacant auto parts building in Cadiz, but later moved to the current location in Trigg County’s Industrial Park #2 in 1992. Since 1991, the business has grown and diversified. To this day, they continue to make game calls, but have since begun manufacturing parts for automotive, bowling balls, air conditioners, and military weapons usage.
