About - Alessandro Raganato

I am an Associate Professor at the University of Milano-Bicocca, in the Department of Informatics, Systems and Communication (DISCo). I am a member of the IKR3 Lab working on Natural Language Processing (NLP). Previously, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the Language Technology Lab at the University of Helsinki, Finland, as a member of the ERC-funded FoTran team led by Prof. Jörg Tiedemann, where I worked on crosslingual Natural Language Processing and Neural Machine Translation. I did my PhD at the SapienzaNLP Lab of the Sapienza University of Rome under the supervision of Prof. Roberto Navigli, as a member of two ERC-funded projects (MultiJEDI and MOUSSE), working on NLP with a focus on multilingual lexical semantics, specifically on the lexical ambiguity phenomena.
