St. Mary's Orthodox Church, located in Morgantown (Westover) West Virginia, is a community of Eastern Orthodox Christians located on US Route 19 just across the Monongehela river from the downtown campus of West Virginia University (WVU). We are a pan-Orthodox community serving members from Carpatho-Russian (Rusyn), Russian, Ukrainian, Serbian, Romanian, Greek, and Antiochian heritage, as well as converts to the Orthodox faith. Our church is recognizable from many points around Morgantown and Westover by the gold dome topping our bell tower. Our membership includes parishioners from Morgantown, WV; Fairmont, WV; Cheat Lake, WV; Masontown, WV; Point Marion, PA; Waynesburg, PA; Uniontown, PA; Deep Creek, MD; Cumberland, MD, and the surrounding areas.
