ERC - Portuguese Regulatory Authority for the Media

The Portuguese Regulatory Authority for the Media was established by Law No. 53/2005 of 8 November and began functioning after the Regulatory Board took office in 17 February 2006. ERC has the fundamental aim of regulating and supervising all organizations carrying out media activities in Portugal.
