The Fretboard Journal is an archival-quality, quarterly publication celebrating all things guitar (and other fretted instruments). In each issue, we dig deep into the nooks and crannies of the music and gear world, interviewing both legendary players and the innovators of today. It’s been called a “guitar magazine for grown-ups.” We strive to make each story comprehensive and well-researched; we feature only exclusive photography. We cover acoustic and electric instruments in each issue. Ad space is limited to around 20% per issue and ads only appear in the front and back of the book. Advertising bears absolutely no influence on our editorial. We pick stories that we think you’d like to read about.
