Nikon has held film and photo contests for more than half a century since the Nikon Photo Contest International in 1969, with the aims of providing a place for professionals and amateurs alike around the world who love photos and films to interact, and contributing to the development of visual culture. For the 40th contest this year, we changed the name to the Nikon Film and Photo Contest in response to the changing times, such as the diversification of media and the rise of personal video streaming devices. This contest continues to evolve in order to discover new perspectives and create opportunities.
