The Steadicam Operators Association (SOA) is THE premier Steadicam® workshop. Established in 1988 by Garrett Brown, the inventor of the Steadicam, and Nicola Pecorini in Exton, PA, the workshops aim at training skilled Steadicam Operators to connect them with motion picture Producers, Unit Production Managers, and Directors of Photography. Today The SOA includes member instructors who are professionals at the top of their field in film + television. They carry on the workshops legacy worldwide.
