MVP: High-Quality Multi-View Partial Point Cloud Database

MVP dataset is a high-quality multi-view partial point cloud dataset, which currently supports point cloud completion and registration tasks. The point cloud completion task target at generating a complete point cloud based on a partal observation for a certain object. The completion results can benefit many downstream tasks. Typically, point cloud registration aims to align a source point cloud to a target point cloud by estimating a relative transformation (SE(3)). Registration is widely-used in many real-applications, such as 3D reconstruction and 6D pose estimation. In ICCV2021, we will host the MVP Challenges, which supports participants to evaluate their methods for the aformentioned two tasks.
